Aaron Fike will kick off his 2007 Nascar Craftsman Truck Series season on Wednesday night. The trucks take to the track for their first practice at 4:30 EST. Practice times will be posted at the end of the session.
During the morning session today at Homestead Speedway, Aaron sat 18th on the leaderboard. The Craftsman Truck Series will continue to test at Homestead this afternoon and towmarrow.
The Red Horse Racing team have called it a test and are heading back to their shop. Aaron currently sits 24th on the speed charts. Aaron never made it back on to the speedway after yesterday's spin in turn two. Aaron lost it in a pack of traffic and spun down off the banking before shooting back up and narrowly avoiding contact with the turn two wall. Fike fought for control, but the No. 1 Red Horse Racing Toyota slid down the banking again, doing significant damage to the nose of the truck. The team is headed to Homestead next week for another round of testing.
Aaron Fike to drive #1 for Red Horse Racing: Red Horse Racing officials say that the team plans to race the #1 Toyota with driver Aaron Fike full time in the Truck Series this season. Fike, 24, plans to compete in all the events and run for Raybestos Rookie of the Year.

Strong Finish at Iowa for A.J. Fike
AJ Fike started 3rd on Saturday, May 5 at the Iowa Speedway in the #91 Hemelgarn/Johnson Racing Silver Crown Car. Radio problems plagued the team has AJ had no communication with the team early on in the race, AJ dropped as far back as 9th place. AJ ended the race in the 3rd position and moved up 3 positions in the standings to 2nd place
